WHO CAN QUOTE

Installer standards

A supplier submits its own application and evidence. An administrator reviews it before that business can receive an invitation, and current eligibility is checked again for every opportunity.

Heat pumps

Installation businesses need current MCS certification with the relevant heat-pump scope.

Solar and batteries

Solar PV and battery storage require the respective MCS scopes. A combined quotation requires both. The team also checks how electrical work will be certified.

Air conditioning

Where F-gas is handled, the business and relevant personnel need appropriate F-gas certification. Other electrical or building-control checks depend on the work.

Business evidence

Applicants first create an installer account. The application asks for legal identity, years trading, a named responsible person and role, business contact details, selected services and mileage radius. MCS applicants provide an installer number and certification body. Current certificates and insurance schedules are uploaded for review. Employers’ liability evidence is requested when the business employs staff.

Review and renewal

The applicant can message the team while the project tools remain locked. The team can ask questions, approve or decline with a reason. Expired or unverified required evidence blocks new invitations. Administrators can pause or resume a supplier.

Ready to quote

After a technical assessment is accepted, approved installers within their stated travel radius are invited automatically. They prepare their own quote from the reviewed brief and shared documents.

Verification does not imply that a named business already participates in Freddie’s Future. Quote eligibility depends on the specific job and current evidence.
